Mexican Cornbread

Ingredients:

1 cup yellow corn meal

1/2 cup flour

2 TBS sugar

1 tsp salt

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup Buttermilk

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 (8 3/4) can cream style corn

1/3 cup chopped onion

2TBS chopped jalapeño

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

 Directions:

Mix first 6 ingredients.

Combine remaining ingredients.

Then combine til all is moistened.

Bake in a 9 inch pan @ 350 for 30 – 35 minutes or til golden brown. Enjoy
